Family Winter Vacation Destinations To Tick Off Your Bucket List

Wohoo! Covid-19 seems to be calming down slightly and holiday destinations, as well as airports, are opening back up. If you have been waiting to start planning your family vacation, now is the best time to do it. You may have a bucket list that you want to work through. Here we have the perfect winter vacation destinations for you to do this.

You may want to check if there is anything you need to do before you go. Such as covid tests or any jabs you need before visiting the country.

Caribbean

If you adore beautiful sandy beaches and clear oceans the Caribbean may just be the place for you. They have gorgeous hotels and the staff are all about pleasing their guests. They will wait on you hand and foot and always be happy to help you with anything you need. The Caribbean is a whole other world and as soon as you step foot on the tarmac at the airport you will feel relaxed.

There are so many islands offering a variety of hotels. Be sure to check reviews for Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club, they offer amazing value for money at their resorts.

In the Caribbean, Jamaica especially, they are known for saying Hakuna Matata. This means no worries or take it easy, you will hear it quite often. The people in the Caribbean may not have a lot but they will probably be the happiest people you will ever meet.

Mexico

Mexico is probably one of the cooler destinations on the list, temperatures in winter can drop to around 19 degrees. However, don’t let this put you off. There are some amazing sites to see in Mexico. The culture in Mexico is so cool and you will be able to visit the carnivals they have and celebrate. If you can and the dates match up you should definitely be there for Mexico’s day of the dead festival two days following Halloween.

Cape Verde

Cape Verde or Cabo Verde as the locals call it is very similar to the Caribbean. They are very happy and their local saying is “No Stress”. Again, you will hear this from the locals very often. Cape Verde is a small island off the west coast of Africa and is hot all year around. Temperatures rarely drop below 20 degrees so you can bask in the heat even when it’s wintertime.

Cape Verde has beautiful beaches that also have sand dunes entwined with them. You can climb up the soft dunes and get a great view of the sea. Some of the hotels even have private beaches so you don’t have to worry about meeting any strangers.

Florida

Florida is a wonderful destination to visit in the winter. With gorgeous hot sunshine and lots of places to visit you will never be bored. While in Florida why not take the kids to Disneyworld and see all their favourite characters. Temperatures never drop below 22 degrees so you will very rarely feel a chill. However, it can get a bit chilly in the evenings so make sure you pack a cardigan or a hoodie at the very least.

We hope you find this guide helpful and you start ticking those destinations off the list very soon.
