Watch Santa Help Soldier Dad Surprise His Three Year Old Daughter

Madyson Pohlman, 3, had one wish for Santa.

Her dad, Army Staff Sergeant Josh Pohlman, has been in Afghanistan for the past nine months. Madyson told Santa she wanted her daddy to come home for Christmas.

Most kids have to wait for Christmas Day for Santa to grant their wishes, but for Madyson, Christmas came a little early.

Pohlman said it was overwhelming to hear his daughter ask for him for Christmas. He said "it hits me straight in the heart. It's exciting to know that she's really excited for me to come home."

Mom Kristen's Christmas wish was also fulfilled: "Just having him home, just looking in my house seeing him and knowing that he's there and he's safe."
