The Strain Actor Corey Stoll "Dying of Anticipation" Over Becoming a Dad

Corey Stoll is ready for daddy duty! The Strain actor and his fiancee, actress Nadia Bowers, are expecting their first child, and Stoll is "dying of anticipation," he told HuffPost Live in an interview on Wednesday, June 24. "I'm so excited."

Though it's his first foray into fatherhood, Stoll, 39, is making a concerted effort to go with the flow during Bowers' pregnancy and their baby's first weeks at home.

"I'm sure there's too much to be nervous about to actually really be nervous about anything specific," Stoll told HuffPost Live with a laugh. "I just sort of figure, there's people a lot dumber than me who's done it, and kept that baby alive, so I think we'll be okay. Whatever I mess up, she's a lot more competent than me in many ways, so I think the kid will be okay."

Engaged to Bowers, 41, since October 2014, Stoll left fans wondering if he and his fiancee had secretly tied the knot when he referred to Bowers as "my wife" during the HuffPost Live chat. Though the pair never directly confirmed Bowers' pregnancy, the mom-to-be stepped out at the Tonys in June with a noticeable baby bump. "Corey and Nadia are such a great couple, she's an amazing support to him," an insider told Us Weekly. "Everyone is super happy for them."

House of Cards alum Stoll is also gearing up to play the lead villain Darren Cross (Yellowjacket) in the new Marvel flick Ant-Man.
