This is where we start get into more tricky territory, a lot of people will simply call a plumber to help with a blocked sink, but this task can be done easily. There are a few things to try when dealing with a clogged sink, so we’ll go through them in order of how they should be tried.

Remove Debris: the easiest clogs to deal with are caused by debris in the drain, this can be sorted by plunging your hand down the sink or into a turned off garbage disposal and try pull out any debris.

Use A Plunger: You should keep a plunger handy in your kitchen at all times, if your attempt to clear debris didn’t work, place the plunger over the sink’s drain and pump it up and down, if successful you should feel pressure release as the blockage clears.

Check The P-Trap: Under the sink there should be your drain pipe, and in this pipe there will be  the P-Trap which looks like a toilets U-bend. You can simply put a bucket underneath and then remove it with a wrench. Then check if the blockage is in the P-Trap, you should just be able to remove the blockage then reattach.
